CulturaGo is a US-based edtech company that’s mission is to educate the world about culture. We do so through creating and distributing short, informative, and fun online cultural preparation courses, geared toward increasing one’s cultural awareness and intelligence, decreasing culture shock, and improving one’s overall experience abroad.
We’re largely a B2B company and focus primarily on partnerships with higher education institutions, international and study abroad offices, and study abroad providers.
Job Overview
We’re excited to be welcoming an experienced partnership development specialist that has a proven track record of success within higher education partnership development and sales, who is committed to growing on CulturaGo’s network of partners.
Qualifications, experience, and expertise
The ideal candidate would possess most or all of the following:
- 5+ years of relevant sales experience: pitching and concluding partnerships with higher education institutions in Education Abroad offices, international recruitment, and admissions.
- Proven track record in partnership development.
- Relevant degrees or certificates.
- A strong network of higher education-related decision-makers within your network.
- Experience using Hubspot (our CRM), Salesforce or similar.
- Passionate about intercultural experiences.
- A people person.
- A strong writer and an even better communicator via calls or in person.
- Strong financial and analytical acumen, and the ability to create forecasts and models.
- Confidence and experience in presenting to large audiences.
- Experience in promoting online and/or intercultural learning products.
- Experience in DEI-related products, services or initiatives within higher ed.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Developing a pipeline of partnership opportunities through a combination of your personal network, along with a targeted approach to sourcing new opportunities.
- Taking the potential partner through the entire sales process from initial demo to contract signing and payment.
- Providing active feedback to CulturaGo’s CEO, marketing and product team on how the sales process and findings inform the companies’ strategic direction, marketing communications and product development.
Remuneration
CulturaGo is exploring a range of opportunities across different levels of experience and salary expectations. Within the interview process, you will be required to share your salary expectations ahead of an interview.
Your package will include:
- Base salary
- Commission on sales
- Share options (at the discretion of the board)

CulturaGo is seeking a digital marketing specialist to take forward the company's digital marketing setup and management, relating to keyword research, SEO, re-marketing, tag management, and everything in between.

Our Stack, Setup & Ambitions
CulturaGo makes use of the following tooling and is looking for a consultant to enhance the use of each, along with their collective insights, to maximize the business's sales, marketing, and learner engagement goals.
Given the company’s business model, we are looking to ensure that our marketing efforts are tailored to both our end users: students/learners, as well as our b2b partners, largely universities. A website re-design is taking place, to make this distinction and split in user type/journey, more clear.
- Website and Learning Management System: Kajabi
- Sales and Marketing CRM: HubSpot
- Tracking
- We have a basic setup of:

- Once the tracking systems are properly configured, we would like to run a combination of lead gen and remarketing ads across the channels below. Each of which, are in the early stages of setup.

Role Details
Role type: remote, part-time consulting role. UK / SAST time zone preferred, but not essential.
- Duration: 2-3 months, with an option to extend the time frame and expand the scope.
- Experience / Expertise: the ideal candidate will have 5 years of relevant experience, with a track record of positive client/job experience.

This role is part-time and would be based on your availability. The general idea is to start off in a role whereby you facilitate meaningful and pin-point introductions for CulturaGo’s Partnership Manager and CEO to engage further. Overtime, this can develop into a more robust partnership development role, should there be mutual interest.
